The ITFMA has been restructured over the past number of years and is now a substantial organisation representing the Timber Frame industry in Ireland.
We have an ever-growing cohort of associate members bringing further strength and depth to our Association and their support brings with it a cohesiveness that is much valued by all our members.
Having revitalised our Association after our most recent recession, we have been very active in working with the Department of Environment to ensure that our members comply with all Building Regulations, after the amendments to update from British to EN Standards. Through this process, we now have standard timber frame details, wall types, etc. contained within the Technical Guidance documents as they are revised. This has been key to ensuring the timber frame method of construction is now deemed a standard method of construction and essentially, recognised as the most efficient and cost-effective way to build new houses that comply or indeed surpass the requirements for the building envelope for achieving NZEB compliance.
All our members are focused on the quality and service that they provide to Customers and to support this they are registered and audited to the NSAI Timber Frame Manufacturers Scheme with many having ISO 9001 registration.
So, in choosing to use the timber frame method of construction provided by ITFMA members, you can be assured that quality and compliance will never be an issue.
Be Safe Stay Well.
